For some reason, when I read BNN, I think of a cheap asian copy - Bollywood News Network or something.

Also, OOTP Baseball Network is a much better way to describe what the network is than Baseball News Network - about, what, 1% of the pages in the network are actual news?

That said, it's a pretty trivial issue, so either way doesn't really matter .

To me, BNN sounds to much like you can't find the imagination to come up with something so you make a cheap copy of CNN. I like OBN better largely because it has OOTP in it, more descriptive I think.

My BNN idea was not the result of a poor imagination but rather from the obvious. Baseball game + news + network = BNN. It was that simple. I spent about 10 seconds coming up with it. CNN never entered into the picture despite the similarities.

The "O" in OBN stands for OOTP which is itself an acronym. I think we should avoid the double acronym. Thus, I voted for BNN.

OBN is an abbreviation within an abbreviation... that's kinda silly.

How about TBN (The Baseball Network)

OSN isn't a bad choice either.

Just don't like the sound of BNN/OBN.

I didn't say it was a result of poor imagination, I said it sounded like a result of poor imagination, not the same thing at all.
