My chalkboard is getting more and more crowded of my ideas that went in the dustbin. Sigh.

My vote by second preference is OBN then.

BNN is close to BBTN, which is a real baseball thing.

OBN sounds like a girls' doctor.

OBN does sound like a girls' doctor. I didn't vote for either. I still wish there had been an option for OSN (Ocean?)

OOTP Sports News, or
OOTP Sports Network.

This is so democratic! I feel so significant and empowered by it!

Folks, e-mail everyone that you know to get the vote out. Don't let the closet feminists have their way. Vote!

Vote BNN!

This one actually crossed my mind, given we already have the OSA in the scouting arena it made sense to simply change the last letter to N for news. There's something to be said for the consistency and familiarity of OSA and OSN, while retaining the OOTP game-mark. The only confusion is that the S's become different things, scouting and sports, but it's not that big of a deal. Besides, the die's already been cast for the final two it seems.

BNN look a bit like CNN. Anyway, I like OBN a lot, so... yeah, I'll go with that.

I like BNN *because* it's so close to CNN. There should be a new section of the reports where Lou Dobbs whines about the Mexican ballplayers.

OBN is too close to OB-GYN. And Obi-Wan. It also sounds like a Navy term to me. Officer Boatswain? Ombudsman?

BNN resonates with the clear association that people worldwide have with CNN. It's a winner.
