I Just Spent 175 mil and my team still sucks!

I can't believe I am posting this....but at 2-10, it sucks to be a Tiger fan. I have had a few expensive experiments with OOTP, but the difference is that the game usually lets me rebuild pretty quickly. Anybody out there have team that just tanked like this? And yes, I am ready to put a fork in them.

at 2-10? Relax a little there Steinbrenner, there's still a lot of baseball left.

Threaten the manager in the papers. That'll feel good

I don't ever feel that way with the whole team, but certainly with players.

"I'm paying you way too damn much to hit .170 for April!"

Ah yes. I mostly pay attention to the other league. I was under the assumption the only teams in the AL were Boston & New York, so I assumed this must be fictional.

My second response stands, tho. Frickin' third baseman.

Should have checked his BMI and work ethic before signing him to a long term deal.

Ah, an ESPN employee are you?

The only good thing is they have the right manager for the job, if it's possible to recover Leyland will do it.

Kind of late in the year for this, isn't it? IIRC we usually see the "I hate this game lololol j.k i was talking about real baseball" thread come in mid to late march. It's already mid April. What happened? Was there some sort of board-wide vacation I didn't hear about?
