Trade difficulty in the first league started off Normal and progressed to Hard and finally V. Hard. The 2nd and 3rd leagues are both set to V. Hard. All have the setup to Favor Prospects. One might be on Heavily Favor Prospects, but I don't recall.
The 3rd one, I also modified the ratings/performance weights to make sure that the AI was a bit smarter than average. Although I am unsatisfied with that solution because the "Omnicient AI bug" can be easily triggered when the AI "knows too much" regarding the players ups and downs regarding ratings/potential, but if difficulty is what I am after then that becomes necessary. |

In my league, Boston has won 10 of the first 12 seasons and look like they will capture another title this year. Their club is aging so their dominance has to end soon.
A journey through the history of baseball.

My house rule is well i've never had a player outside the organization. Every single player in my roster was drafted by the Mets. The only free agents i signed were 2 players that i was unable to resign before free agency.

Metsvir update
4 years into my franchise, 4 NL East Division titles, 2 WS titles After back to back titles the first 2 years, the next 2 years had disappointing endings in the postseason. This time, it was Game 5 NLDS at San Diego. My ace gave up 1 run and was down 1-0 in the 8th when we took the lead leaving him in line for the victory, but the Pads answered with 3 in the 8th off my lefty reliever and my season was over. Kansas City won the title again.

I won the WS 6 times in 11 years with the Orioles in OOTP 6.5... I don't tend to win multiple WS rings with teams these days. I adopt more of a Bill Parcells approach to things now. I take over a bad team and give myself 4-5 seasons with them. Build them up into a contender and if I win a ring or two, great. No matter what I'm moving on to another horrible team at the end of those 4-5 years. It keeps things fresh for me and is always a challenge.
