Let's seem some custom skins screenshots!

I'm curious as to what guys are using on their 8/2007 setup? I currently use the blue, but would love to go with a wood/green setup or something that smacks of baseball colors (natural).

Anyone know if the ones for 2006 (like the wood cherry skin) work?

I'm using the Wood/Green - and plan to continue with those colors for OOTP 9.

You could try them, but I doubt it. I remember there was a problem with parts of the OOTP8 Blue skin because some files were still named for OOTP 2007. Something like that; it had to be patched IIRC.

Did they fix the problem with the blue skin or not? Just curious - I don't use it.

I used the blue skin, so what is the issue? I remember a thread on that, but it was from before the last patch. I do believe it was fixed in that patch.

I've gone back to the classic. I like that, but want to look at tweaking one or two colors. Some of those screen backgrounds are WAAAY too dark for me at times.

Kinda depressing.

OK, I am trying to change something and need some help.

I'd like to change the transparency of the main panel background (say when in rosters/lineups/rotation screens). I'd like to make it a bit more transparent so the background image is just a bit more visible and also to cut down on the darkness of the background color.

I have not been able to find where this transparency filter value is located. Can someone help me in this?

It is found in Preferences under Current Skin. Select Classic.

Enjoy. Changing to Classic will probably make a big difference for you.

probably well in the minority, but I really liked the "pearl" skin from 2006, but alas, I don't think those work with OOTP8

Count me in that minority and, like you, wishing for its return with a future version. I don't know why they ever abandoned that one.
