Well since we can get the preorder discount all the way up till release and they will release the full feature list before release we should be just fine.
After getting hosed on 2006 preorder I'm waiting till the last day. That way I can use the 2 week money back if I find it to be another dog. If it wasn't for that return policy this year I'd be out yet again.

I do that with mlb.tv. I trick it into thinking I'm in Japan, so i don't have any blackouts when need be. Works great so id at least give it a shot lol.

I know I saw the answer to this question in another thread (or maybe even this one), but I can't seem to find it. So, when does the pre-order period end? I'm assuming it's when the game is released but I just wanted to get clarification on that.

How will the new scouting and development engine affect the players i drafted in 2007/8?

The past 2 drafts i picked 9 outfielders who my 6 star hitting scout say will be great. I am looking to replace the 3 oldest outfielders with whoever comes from the 9 and another to come in 2009.

Also will i get to keep those star scouts i got in 2007/8 in the newest release?

The current season in my sig is the last before pre ordering OOTP 9 and will stop playing at 1-1-2011 in my franchise

We should be nearing some kind of day for "release info" shouldn't we? I thought they said mid-may, or am I mistaken? I assure you I'm not complaining or rushing anyone... just curious. I pre-ordered the game the day I got the newsletter in my box and I'm just ready to know what I bought. You know... a features list?
