So, the runoff is whether the word "Great" is in the league title? That's really unimaginative. I'll still write-in, "Out of the Box League".

The first thing that pops into my mind when looking at one of the abbreviations is "American Basketball Association."

Uh, both options are silly. ABA is going to make me think of basketball and GABA sounds RIDICULOUS. Did no one suggest USBL (United States Baseball League). Sometimes simple is better.
