OOTP 9 season length

My only issue before buying is whether or not this has unlimited seasons unlike OOTP 8/2007

Unlimited seasons? Good lord, what season did you have to play up to before the game said "You can not play anymore seasons..YOU'VE HAD ENOUGH!!"?

Wow, yeah. I don't think I've hit a wall with seasons before.

I'm only in my third season. But i do want to know if it's a finite number not, like Madden used to have 40 seasons as a limit

You can play until you run out of hard drive space or memory, whatever comes first.

Right, so the limit on any kind of decent computer that can run XP or Vista is at least thousands, and probably more like hundreds of thousands or millions of seasons.

Or at least until Vista eats your machine and renders it unusable.

So where is this evidence that OOTP8/2007 does not allow unlimited seasons? Kind of a weird statement if you ask me.

I think the most I ever ran on 2007 was 550 seasons. Took me that long to get an 800-HR hitter. Makes me want to try and break it.

I think we'll all agree that OOTP has maybe a slight advantage in all aspects of gameplay over Madden

What gives you the impression that there is a real limit in OOTP8/2007? If there is one, I'm sure it's ridiculously high.

Ok, I simed so far 500 years in OOTP 2007.

Certain interesting results (only 2 .400+ hitters). But I don't see any limit so far.

I might have to do that, though I'm scared of breaking my computer with the massive amounts of AWESOME it'll suddenly have to be containing after a few thousand seasons.

I wonder if this question was based off the demo... where you can only play up to August, or whatever it is?

I doubt they'll change the demo, been trying to get that changed for 2 years, but the full version has no such limit and no limit on how far in the future you can play except the limits your computer create (hard drive space, processing power).
