Thank you. Yes I do miss 6.5.. haven't played a version of any baseball game near as much as ootp 6.5. I'm excited about some of the features of 09 though.

Last year, there was an early download for pre-order customers.

Yep, sure did. I have had only one version of ootp that I didn't like, and felt like I didn't get my money's worth. That's more than any other game that has yearly releases that I can think of. Markus is an independent developer again, is reliant on his customer base, and I don't think he'll disappoint.

Since I have so little time nowadays to play solo it is all up to whether my online league moves to the new version. If they do, I'll buy, if not I might as well save my pennies. I bought OOTP 8 (and all the ones in between since Season Ticket Baseball whenever that was) but have really not had time to fiddle with it at all, so it turned into pretty much a donation. I'm sure Markus and everyone are great guys, but I can't just keep paying for something I'm not using.

Now if my darn online league would finally move past 6.5.....well that would be nice. But they are diehards.
