OOTP 9: Will it convert old 6.5 seasons as 2008 did

My copy of 2008 trial has expired and I don't know how to "reset" it. So I'm wondering can I use the Cato Converter in OOTP 9? I have a converted 6.5 league that I've played one year in 2007 so far and was wanting to pull in all of the old history for it.

If this can't be done, can I somehow re-install ootp8 without it asking me to purchase because my trial has expired? I need to re-run the OOTP Cato Convertor.

Battists has stated that OOTP 9 converts OOTP 6 leagues, and that it has Cato converter as a component.

Will it Append my 6.5 data to the two seasons that I played in 2007? It makes sense that it would just checking.
