OOTP quick start suggest the team name for SL1

Los Angeles
Boston
San Francisco
Atlanta

Please suggest fictional team names for the above cities. Please don't suggest the MLB ones.

Can't use Black Sox in Chicago, nor Braves in Boston.

LA had its riots a little after 1961.

Aeros is a very appealing name in Atlanta. Good alliteration.

I like the Chicago Alderman a lot.

The Colonials might be a winner. Pitt Panthers is a non-starter.

In that case, looking at the other names;
St Louis Spirit
Chicago Fire
Cincinnati Rivermen
Los Angeles Legends
Boston Colonials
SF Sharks
Atlanta Aeros
Pittsburgh Pioneers

St. Louis Spirits is a great one. I am a little concerned about that ABA team from three decades ago, so I will ask permission to use it. It's a winner if it passes muster.

The San Francisco Seals walks a fine line too. Let's see what else comes up.

Interesting name in Pittsburgh...

The Blues in St. Louis is a non-starter.

Why Pioneers in Pittsburgh?

The Gold Sox is uncomfortably close to the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox.

LA Moguls...I could see an East Coast club moving to LA and renaming itself the Moguls.

The Atlanta Peanuts was a clever choice.

The Dredgers. Original. Good call!

Not going to use Los Angeles Law. Never was a fan, either.

Chicago Fire is a non-starter due to the MLS, and someone is bound to have rights to the Pittsburgh Grays.

My favorites so far...

Atlanta Aeros
Boston Colonials
Los Angeles Moguls
St. Louis Dredgers

...the rest are undecided. You can make a compelling case to knock one of these team nicknames off with new suggestions. The St. Louis Spirits might have a quick poll run on Thursday in a dogfight with the St. Louis Dredgers, as I thought both were great.

I wonder if that was the thinking of the MLL team of the same name.
