Well, I've pre-ordered...
...even though I don't really know what's new for this edition. It doesn't look like any of my suggestions have been incorporated.
Any chance for: 1) Real 19th-century play, or at least an easier way to access 19th-century players/seasons without a workaround? 2) "Real World Series"/Champions League? 3) Promotion/relegation? 4) The infamous multinational option (gory details here)? 5) Adjusting city sizes for levels? (That is, when you're creating fictional leagues and full minors, the Major League cities would be from a pool of cities with 1M+ population, while AAA would be 500,000-1M, AA 250K-500K, and so on)? 6) A cookie? (It won't spoil my dinner, I promise.)

This is an interesting proposal that I don't recall having been suggested before. Sort of like a profile of appropriate ranges for market size, media and merchandising revenue, and attendance with one click. Maybe it was in the suggestions thread and I missed it but this is a fine idea IMO, old or new.

That would stuff up my Australian League though. A lot of our major centres are still below 1M. I wouldn't have many cities to choose from.
It would probably be something like: MLB: cities in top 10% in population in given country (for example: Australia has 247 cities with at least 1,001 people, so the MLB level would choose from the top 24 largest cities.) AAA: 70th to 90th percentile AA: 60th to 80th (note overlap) A: 50th to 70th Short A: 40th to 60th Rookie: 30th to 50th Still, this idea is nothing compared to the top 4 on my list; any chance of them happening? (Oh, thx for the cookie... )

based on the official threads about the release I'd say the only one of them that has any chance is #1 and I would say thats 50/50, or more likely, worse. I'd love to see 2-5 myself.

It's not pessimism, it's realism. History teaches you what to expect in this world, and it also teaches you that pleasant surprises do happen but are rare. A realist accepts this. A pessimist, on the other hand, is one who doesn't believe that there will ever be a pleasant surprise, no matter what.

2) No. 3) You can already do this manually, even the history will handle this properly ![]() 4) Yes... basically you can select the team nationalities in the league setup, and these settings will be used by the player creation. 5) Well, it already works that way basically. 6) I think I deserve one ![]() |

1) Yes. ![]() 2) "Real World Series"/Champions League? 2) No. Ah, well. Not exactly a dealbreaker. 3) Promotion/relegation? 3) You can already do this manually, even the history will handle this properly. Yeah, but it's a pain. Again, not a dealbreaker. 4) The infamous multinational option (gory details here)? 4) Yes... basically you can select the team nationalities in the league setup, and these settings will be used by the player creation. Awesome. Can you be more specific on how this happens? Is it similar to my idea? 5) Adjusting city sizes for levels? (That is, when you're creating fictional leagues and full minors, the Major League cities would be from a pool of cities with 1M+ population, while AAA would be 500,000-1M, AA 250K-500K, and so on)? 5) Well, it already works that way basically. Kinda. You still wind up with MLB-sized cities in AAA and vice-versa. 6) A cookie? (It won't spoil my dinner, I promise.) 6) I think I deserve one Made from real Girl Scouts... ![]()

any chance that can be changed to metropolitan area in some regards, or have the size for each level capped...I see Cincinnatti and Anaheim created in the rookie leagues way too frequently.
