Depth chart question
I have this situation with my outfielders:
Defensive ratings scale 1-5 Allen RF 2 Scoular LF + RF 5, CF 4 Chavez LF 1 RF 2 Kee LF + CF 5, RF 1 So, I put Allen RF, Scoular CF, and Chavez LF, because these are the best hitters. Allen gets hurt on the 1st day of the sim, and the computer finishes the sim with Kee in RF and Chavez in LF (both rated 1). Obviously, I would have preferred Kee in LF (5) and Chavez in RF (2). Is there anyway to setup the depth chart so that the computer would have made this choice?

Yes, (in the depth chart), Kee was the backup at all 3 positions, but when the starting RF is out with injury, it would be nice for the AI manager to shuffle the OF, so as to maximize defense.

Ideally you would set it so that Kee was backup in LF and CF and have Chavez as your starting LF and backup RF..... then when your starting RF was injured it would shift Chavez to RF and put Kee in left, or when Allen needed a days rest it would shift Chavez to RF and put Kee in left... but it won't do that. If you do set it up that way, Allen would never get a day off even if he were sleeping out there. That should be possible but, as yet, it is not.
