Test League

I need some input from the esteemed members of this great OOTP community.

I want to set up and run a test league to better understand some of the various ratings and how they impact performance. What is the best way to go ahead and set up a league like this. Would it be best to change all of the player ratings to an average rating, and then just mess around with the ratings of one player? How would some of you statheads out there go about it. Thanks for your .

I've always wondered how people like injury_log were able to create a whole league of players with the exact same ratings to run tests. I didn't look too much into it but I didn't see an obvious way to do it

export the ratings from the league functions menu then open the .txt file in excel or some spreadsheet program. you can make mass edits and import the file back, also in the lg functions menu.

The only problem with this solution is that the rosters.txt file does not include the personality ratings. These are some of the ratings I wanted to test as well. I remember in previous versions, we could import the .csv files that cover more than just the rosters. (I think I remember that we could do that.) If anyone has a solution for quickly changing the personality ratings, let me know. Thanks

i dont believe theres any way to quickly edit the personality ratings. ive wanted to do this myself for a number of reasons and brought it up when i was on the 2007 beta team, unfortunately markus marked the issue as ignored.
