OOTP is such a fantastic, superb game! Sadly, however, the one giagantic flaw is the horrible lack of at least a 2-D, top down, graphics display with good ball phsics and co-ordinated sound like FM/WWSM. Then we could at least view what we are managing.

Do you remember when the clock on the load screen was put there, it was a suprise "improvement" for I beleve 2006 patch 2.

The imagination is far better than any 2-D graphics Markus could design. But it's becoming a lost art.

Then you and the other "imagineers" won't mind switching off the graphical gameplay display while the rest of us enjoy the fine experience as proven in Football Manager, Worldwide Soccer Manager, NHL Eastside Hockey Manager, etc..

Marcus, when do you estimate you will have at least the working 2-D gameplay display ready for OOTP? After that, we can hope for a 3D display.

As long as it doesn't take away from development of other aspects and doesn't turn the game into bloatware, I really couldn't care less if it's a feature of the game.

Why not? We all play the game our own way. Also on the subject, people in other threads have been talking about "game size", if there is one thing guaranteed to increase the size of an ap, it's adding more graphics related stuff.
