It all looks fantastic, some user suggestions have definitely been incorporated into the game and that is what I really like to see.
I do have one question. Could a drug suspension correlate to a drop in talent or ability? It seems to me like if a player got caught using steroids, and he stopped using them because of this, that it could cause his production to go down a lot. I'm also wondering if there could be an organizational policy of subsidizing steroids and attempting to beat the testing system. Ok, I'm joking on this one. ![]()

I'm guessing the steroid option is only going to be available in fictional leagues, as they would not be appropriate in historical leagues as the stats are the stats however they may or may not have been accomplished, and rating boosts would not be appropriate, and also in real roster leagues where the players are rated under the same provisos, and I can't wait to see someone complaining that a certain name is suspended for taking PEDs when there has never been any suspicion IRL.

I am probably wrong, but I don't recall anyone saying a player who is suspended for failing a drug test in OOTP would have a ratings boost. I think it's just random. I hope Markus can clarify this issue. The screenshots look nice. Now let's get the game out already. The minor spelling errors are just that, minor. Please don't let them get in the way of a release. |

Please tell me we'll have the option to disable or turn off the drug suspensions? Or at least be able to edit the file that these are in to remove the drug suspensions.
IMO this feature is a couple versions too late. Baseball is moving forward and these type of things are becoming very infrequest, especially at the major league level. This is something that should have been in V6 and 6.5 when there was still a lot of drug use. If we can't edit a file or disable them, will they be editable in the player editor like injuries are? Thank you.

It's a fictional league, I would think the creator would have the option of spelling teams nicknames any way he sees fit. Or am I missing some obscure copyright law somewhere?

Markus, the screen shots look great! I have one question related to suspensions. Is the game set up to properly set the roster so that the affected team plays short however many players are suspended?
In other words, if Derrek Lee gets suspended, the Cubs won't be able to replace him; they'll have to play with 24 players instead of 25. Will the game make that adjustment as well?

See that Morale is checked in one of the screen shots. I know that there was a lot of discussion on the boards concerning how well this was implemented in previous versions. Has this been tweaked or refined in this version?
