League History - Leaderboard Question - Markus?

Hello, I am working on the things I need to do to setup my baseball universe when OOTP 9 finally comes out. I have a question.

For my league, I am only going to have 80 game schedules. I got all that to work ok, but I have come across one problem. When I go to my league's history and check the leaderboards in my test league, my single season records are all messed up, because for batting, it is set to where you must have 502 ABs to qualify and for pitching, you must have 162 innings pitched to qualify.

Is there any place in the game setup where you can adjust these settings, so I can set it to like 275 ABs and 80 innings to qualify?

Anyone know the answer to this? Markus?

If you create your league with an 80 game schedule, the game will automatically adjust those numbers, at least it did with a test I just ran. I started a ficitional league with an 80 game schedule and the history leaderboard had 248 PA required for batters and 80 IP required for pitchers. Is this what you were asking???

Yeah, but in my test league, it kept the 502 & 162 settings.

I also play an 80 game schedule and have 248 PA and 80 IP in my leaderboards. Not sure what happened in your test league, I'd suggest trying again and see if you get the same results.

I play a 100-game schedule and have this problem as well. My players seldom have enough at-bats to qualify for anything - even with over 200 ABs.

Here are 2 screen captures: 1-My team with no batting avgs!, and 2-Another team who's players did qualify.

Clearly this seems to be a bug. I wish I could manually adjust the minimum at-bats to just 100.

YEah I would like this to be able to be changed too. I think to appear on your teams leaderboard you should only need half a season as a regular player. I have players that represent two half seasons but never get on season leaderboard.

Further is their not a post season stat page?

Go to the league setup and check the schedule length there, it should be 80 games as well. I guess it's set there to 162 still because the schedule was manually created.

Do you mean Number of Games Per Team (in the League Setup/Options screen)? I have this set correctly to 100 but am still encountering the problems that I posted above.

This is the case for me. My test league was scheduling 80 games per season alright, but you're right, in setup, it does still say 162 games. I will change this and see what happenes and report back.

Thanks Markus.

Done. Note also that my team (Pacifica Pythons) has many high average hitters - and none of them seemed to qualify for any league leaders consideration. Thanks for the support.

Ok, this was the case, so I changed it and re-generated the schedule and after each season, in the league setup, it defaults back to 162 games. There seems to be no way to stop it from doing so.

Any ideas?

I think I know the problem.

This only occurs with teams that wear ugly uniforms. Change your colors and you'll be all set.

If only that were true! I've actually redone all my uniforms & colors (see:
Uniforms Ready For OOTP 9
but it didn't solve the problem .

Yes, I made sure and hit "Enter." I think it has something to so the the schedule path, as I am using a historical league. Is there anyway to change the schedule the league keeps trying to use? The "path." ?

Your league is totally fine... the reason why no hitters show up for you is that none of your players has more than the limit of 310 PA (3.1 * Team game). That is because of the player useage settings in your depth chart.

The reason why this always reverts back to 162 games is that you probably have auto-expand enabled, which automatically sets the schedule length to the real life length in that year.

Thanks for the info. I hope at some point in the future we will be able to set this number manually so that more of our players can participate in the leaderboards.
