GM Question

I was wondering, if you are playing as a GM as an organization and try to set a line up that your manager doesn't agree with will he refuse to go by the lineup in the new version?

Basically, does an AI manager have a personality that could clash with yours as GM?

Well, you can choose to override the manager or let him make lineup decisions, but I don't think that any "clashing" would occur. Managers don't have personalities that the players do.

Yeah, you can hire Billy Martin and he will happily play Reggie Jackson when you tell him to.

Managers do have strategic tendencies.

But those only come into play during the game if you choose (as GM) to control the lineups.

I think it'd be pretty cool to have a Owner, GM, and manager clashes. Definitely would be realistic.

I always choose the "manager sets all lineups and depth charts" options and then I might edit it here and there before I start the game.
