I have vista also, and haven't had any problems with it. No crashing or anything yet. I hear most people don't like it because it's a resource hog. It is, but I have 4Gb of RAM, and 3ghz dual core, so everything runs smooth.

Oh come on, its not that bad. I have Vista on a laptop and once I turned off the stupid popups, it works ok. I still have Windows ME on the top of the list for worst all time.

The real name of Windows Vista should be Windows CEMENT - it combines the worst part of Windows CE, Windows ME, and Windows NT, and it makes your computer run like was bogged down in wet cement.

I want to cringe when I hear people compare it to ME. It's not even close. Yes, Vista can be resource hog if you're low on RAM and Processing power. But I see absolutely no difference in speed between XP/Vista when I run them. If anything, Vista is faster for me.

Vista. A mistake carried out to perfection.
Vista. Dissatisfaction guaranteed. Vista. Don’t get frustrated without it. Vista. Even your dog won’t like it. Vista. Flaky and built to stay that way. Vista. Complex nonsolutions to simple nonproblems. Vista. Form follows malfunction. Vista. It could be worse, but it’ll take time. Vista. It could happen to you. Vista. Let it get in *your* way. Vista. Live the nightmare. Vista. More than enough rope. Vista. Putting new limits on productivity. Vista. Simplicity made complex. Vista. The art of incompetence. Vista. The defacto substandard. Vista. There’s got to be a better way. Vista. Warn your friends about it.

I looked into it, and you're right. A recent poll by Changewave indicated that it's only 34% of Vista users who are really dissatisfied with it.
