Game times with weather delays
I know I've made a few posts on time of game in OOTP, and I know it's hardly the most important thing on the list of "issues", but this time I just have a straight question on the subject.
Does the final game time include the time of a weather delay? I ask not because I want to point the triviality that this is incorrect if so, but as to be able to deduct the time myself if this is the case. In this game, even with the snowfall and clearing up (and of course on the opposite side taking into account that this game would be postponed/suspended IRL most likely), I cannot see how 4 hours, 40 minutes, is an acceptable duration, but this is what I would like to clear up. Also as you will see, the text should say snow delay not rain delay. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

33 degrees. Sounds like a mix to me
I'm pretty sure the recorded time includes the rain delay. as for it being an acceptable duration. 9 innings game can easily take three and a half hours with no delays. Especially a game with 24 hits and 16 runs. Those kinds of games can approach four hours. I'd be curious to see the amount of walks also in that game. In any case, you're talking around an hour delay due to weather. Sounds ok to me.

![]() But as for the delay itself, that's the way I read it. I've never heard of a 4 3/4 hour nine inning game. And I guess as I've changed history and still got the Expos, I should have also added a retractable roof. |

Well, a 24 hit game with a 1 hour delay (55 minutes) doesn't seem to be a streatch at 3 hrs 45 minutes. That's a lot of base runners and that doesn't take into consideration walks and other things. Might well have been a lot of pick off attempts, which eat up minutes.
