Manager's Nightmare

WOW, never, ever, been through a stretch like this.

Fictional league with RL team names, and I play out ALL of my games in PBP, one-pitch mode, and when the game started I was offerred 4 jobs, and I chose the one with the LOWEST budget for a good challenge (funny thing in this one it was the Yankees ). Anyway, I know its gonna be a challenge, and I'm 8-11 right now, BUT THE AMAZING THING is the way I've lost those 11. NINE OF THE ELEVEN by ONE run, and not just that but the way I've lost em. Man, I can see a RL manager going through this and needing serious therapy.

It's been a helluva ride with these Yankees, let me tell ya.

April 3rd - Lost in 11 innings, after rallying from a 6-0 deficit to tie.
April 5th - Indians won in the bottom of the 9th with a walk off single.
April 8th - Led by 1 going to bottom of 9th, Senators tied and won in 14 innings.
April 10th - Led by 1 going to bottom of 9th, Red Sox tied in ninth and won in 13 innings.
April 11th - Red Sox won it in bottom of 9th with a walk off double.
April 14th - Led 7-5 into the 8th, Tigers tied it in the bottom of the 8th, then won it in the 9th on a walk-off error by RF! DROPPED A POP-UP!
April 16th - Trailed 7-4 going to the ninth, rallied to 7-6 only to fall short with the tying run on 2nd base.
April 20th - Blew an early 4-0 lead, went to the 10th where we scored one in the top of the 10th only to have the Rangers score one to tie in the bottom half and then they scored one in the bottom of the 11th on a THROWING ERROR ON A STEAL ATTEMPT to win it.
April 21st - Led 4-2 going into the bottom of the ninth only to have my closer completely blow up and give up three before one out is even recorded.

WHEW. Man, this is just fictional and I'm sweaten. Geez, if this was really the Yankees and really the New York media..........

You haven't lost a game with a five run lead with two outs recorded in the 9th yet.

If I managed more often, there's every chance that would happen to me, but no that was the Royals last night against the Twins.
