Same boat as Erik. Of the one I know of, it's a 9. The other, I'm not sure what he's talking about. Then again, I haven't been around today, and I'm all drugged up on percocet. So...I'm not aware I'm even posting right now.

Im hoping it is the ability to make a all time greats league with a few clicks of the mouse, w/modifiers to tie in players from different eras.

Having a ITP type feature would be a nice touch also.

Manager of the Year Awards?
and...

Stopping Auto-Sim for Milestones...

or...

The ability to see thumbnails of graphics when selecting logos, caps, ballpark images...etc. Instead of having to remember names.

I thought about it, then realized that Markus controls the weather.txt file. Looks like he could drop a tornado on my head at any minute.

I can certainly see the former. There's a viable playstyle that won't get any benefit from the feature we've been talking about.

OK, he's already announced sound in PBP. Sound now includes speech; a.k.a. Puresim??? Nah, that ain't it.

Graphics??? Nah, that would've gotten out by now. Or would it????????

I'm going to say historical real-life player movement and the ability to schedule non-exhibition game series between league champions.

Oops! There it is! Bootgen! Now you can put together all your teams' sanitary sock requirements! Stirrups or long pants? It's your decision NOW IN OOTP9.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess at the ability to affiliate a player with more than one team, thus opening WBL and winter league possibilities. That doesn't seem like such a quick and easy thing to do but... hey, who knows?

let me guess on one of them....OOTP news stories will feature a "MGOM Report" that will inform readers about "Derek Jeter could be traded for Milton Bradley, G Laird, and so on" or "expansion reaches P. Rico".

A guy can dream right?

LOL! I just thought of something. What if Markus was momentarily confused, thinking of something that was already announced in the first newsletter?

MEIN GOTT!!! I have only ONE (1) "pretty big feature" to announce at this point! What do I do? I'm ruined! Wait, think. Somebody mentioned something about BatGen and GloveGen . . . no, too much coding for that. How about that fuzzy ball motion? Yes, I can do that in two weeks. Nobody will notice right away when the ball goes to left field on a grounder to second . . . fix that in a patch or two maybe . . . yes. Whew, I'm saved.
