You may joke...

Oh, and it's obviously the inclusion of RackGen!

Features

Well, this thread has gotten my interest level revved up, no doubt. Depending on what the features are, I could finally be tempted to buy right now vs. waiting for the first patch. Nothing announced to-date has been high enough on my wishlist to justify that.

Has Markus signed Ernie Harwell to do the play-by-play, ala the old Miller Associates' Broadcast Blast? Has he brought back the old transactions screen where I can see all my rosters at once? One of those plus Rackgen, and I'm aboard.

As far as #2 goes, would it be possible to ask for cortisone shots and a pitcher rehabilitation budget in a future patch?

Imagine that newsletter going out to everyone subscribed...everyone would think Markus was insane if those were the two surprise features everyone was getting hyped up about. I was actually kind of anticipating being able to put our favorite singer in to sing the national anthem...first one to make a Celine Dion mod gets their license revoked.

- There will now be an option to make all of your players hobbits which will be reflected in both their physical attributes and FaceGen.
If it's not, then we're taking our preorders and going home (to Isengard)!

It would cut down on the amount of messages as you'd have just one at the start of the season that got edited as the year went on

I reckon one surprise is the inclusion of Ghanaian baseball as standard and the second surprise is that there was only one surprise.

Do foreigner limits work in Middle Earth as the championship winning team must consist of the right 20 players

Three rings for the Elven-kings under the sky
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone
Nine for the Mortal Men doomed to die
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

No, but the real problem is when some schmuck throws the ball into Mt. Doom and claims his team automatically wins.

1) background photos of naked German girls eating Brats

2) Eddie Vedder doing the 7th inning stretch if you are winning, Tony Romo if you are losing ...

He must have finally gotten the elusive Ross Gload official endorsement. Congrats!

EDIT: The second one must be further refinement of the Comeback Code.

Here's a sekrit. The Cubs code is broke, and Markus is having a real hard time fixing it. This might delay the release.

Why would you run the uninstaller in order to install OOTP?

This is making me look forward to 9 even less. Just like previews have been known to take the enjoyment out of movies this, I have news for you but wait till we email it to you is really starting to get old. You have our money either give us the game or keep working on the game till your ready to give it to us, don't string us along with stupid [expletive deleted]. Most of the people here don't need to be wowed into getting the game, we are already looking forward to getting the game. doing things like this makes it seem like you have too much free time on your hands and are just wasting ours.
