If there is I've never found it. I have SEVERAL games that ran under windows 95 that WILL NOT RUN on XP. And Vista supposedly is even WORSE in this respect.

I've tried ALL of those XP settings where it says you can "Run as if under 95 or 98 or 2000". I've even tried using properties to have it run the setup program is if under 95. Doesn't work. Nothing works. I have tons and tons of old games that will not run on this computer and it is infuriating. I'm just glad I have an even older computer than this still running, but not sure how longer it will.

Funny, just a few days ago, I had taken the music from '96 (Talkin' Baseball, and "I Saw It On The Radio") and loaded it onto my iPod. That was the music I was looking for when I picked up the cds from my dusty collection of PC games.

We're going to be able to load up personal music onto the upcoming OOTP game?

OK, SD, I've sent all of the music files from FPS BBPro 96. I'll wait to send the 98 files until you've confirmed you're getting them and they work.

I got a lot of emails back from your email service saying it exceeded the meximum space again. I know you said you received one, and I know that each one individually was under your limit. Could it be possible that I can only send one at a time, and won't be able to send another until after you've downloaded it and deleted from your inbox????

Dammit, Sitting Duck, I've got my Windows Media Player fixed, and now I'M sitting here playing OOTP8 with FPS BBPro96 music playing. Now I can't stop!! Wow, best of both worlds. OOTP and that great music playing. Geez, now I'm not gonna want to install 9. This is your fault.

EDIT: Just noticed. I've made the BIGS!! 300 Posts, I'm now in The Show!! Gotta call the family.

Sort of? You can play a game out, just at the end of the game you're going to get an assert.

If you sim a game, you're going to get an assert. As much as I like OOTP, I tell myself if I could get it working, I'd still play that.

(then I'd realize how limited it was, so would play both).

One feature in that game I -really- liked, was the player import feature, where you could enter in a player's stats from various sources and it would make ratings for them... semi redundant with the lahman import in OOTP, but it certainly would make my conversion of my Texas League from FPS possible.

I also hope one day that OOTP can put in a system like FPS had for the HoF. A 5 year wait, then voting. It was always cool to wait and see if your retired player who -should- get into the hall would be put in this year or not, and if that borderline player would get in before the time expired. Curse you Sierra for killing Dynamix.

Yah! I got the music via CDs from OFG today!! wooohooooooooo

That stuff sounds so right, I don't wanna be wrong. Thanks, guy.

And to back Bishop, I've also read that you can play out a game, but you'll have issues at the conclusion of the game. Not sure if a go-between utility will help out with that or not. I did fire it up and play a bit. And I have to say, although the graphics are dated, that physics system in the game are remarkable. It's too bad - that game could have ruled the roost forever had Sierra not been such a total shat company.

Anyways, so the question becomes, where to upload it all. There are 22 tracks that make up about 355MB of data.
