Ping: Raidergoo
So I was searching the boards, and I couldn't find a collection of what the quickstart league will look like, is that not available to public yet?

Since that time, I have made 2 additional file uploads to the OOTP Dev server. I have been customizing things to make it a little more fun. There are a few minor Easter eggs in the file. Good luck finding them! One of the things I had to do this AM was to eliminate the use of astroturf fields and domed stadiums. The wizard uses these fairly liberally in the minor leagues. The minor league stadiums are have been fixed. Likewise, most of the stadiums had generic names. For the most part, the names of the stadiums have been customized, like in Cleveland. The Cleveland Eagles will play their games at Speaker Field. Some of the stadium names are clever, some are really plain (Municipal Stadium). I used filters to make sure that the people that signed up for the quickstart were you, and had star potential. I used a filter that listed player under 25, with Contact, Power, and Eye Potential above 50 (1-100 scale), which gave me a decent list. Then I renamed them for posters. I used a similar filter for pitchers with Stuff, Control, and Movement potentials above 50. Here is your player: Last edited by Raidergoo : 06-08-2008 at 06:14 PM. |

Dola,
Right now there are 91 board members in the file. That leaves 22 to add to the 1951 draft pool. This means the next person to be added is Noah Hilgert. He's going to be one of the top picks in the 1951 amateur draft. |
