question about leaderboards

I've tried starting a couple of different historical leagues and tried both with and without the "import entire career history" option but either way I choose the career leaderboards still show pre-1901 totals. Am I missing something or maybe my questions are - what does that "import entire history" option do, exactly? And is there a way to start in 1901 with blank career/season leaderboards?

Offhand, I think there is a button in League Setup - Functions that erases league history. So you could start your historical league and before doing anything, erase the history or erase the accumulated stats of the existing players. That might do it.

Wow I'm so pleased it's like I have a new game. Now if only the game would retain the transaction logs I'd be all set!

Game > Game Setup > Global Setup > Keep transaction logs... All

Should that not get the job done?

That option doesn't seem to do anything and I had a ticket logged about it. No matter what I have that set to when the playoffs end the season's transactions erase and I only get from the end of October through the end of the year for an almanac.
