Historical Schedules in OOTP8

I've been playing around with the historical league options in OOTP8. If you load up, say, the 1903 historical season using the database included in the game, do you automatically get the 1903 schedule as well? Just curious, it appears that I might have the actual 1903 schedule, at least by looking at the one team I want to control (vs. what I've read online) ... Maybe it's just a coincidence. Thanks!

Yes. At least, that's how it's supposed to work.

I would really like to be able to use the as-played schedules rather than the as-scheduled ones.

You're welcome.

Note that I think there are at least a couple of typos in a few of the schedules resulting in games on incorrect dates, but this does not affect the number of games played by each team (they all play the appropriate number for the given year).

I have to clean up those typos, but it's a bit of a pain to track them down.

One of the (many) projects I want to get to (eventually). First, I want to improve the selection of minor league schedules for the game; there's definitely some lacking in variety there, and historical minor league schedules are rather different from their current-day counterparts.

In terms of MLB as played schedules, the only issue (I think) there is with using those in OOTP is that the game will not be able to calculate the magic numbers properly since the game uses the number of games entered on the schedule options.
