...There aren't any. I simmed it out, and when the Seattle Pilots moved to Milwaukee there were no messages beyond the end-of-season ones. It'd be nice to have some sort of indication.

Incidentally, I think the same is true about divisional realignment - no messages about new rivalries, etc. - that would also be nice addition.

The game allows you to write your own. I'd suspect that'd be a much better bet in a case like this, than expecting the game to have it done automatically...for a variety of reasons.

To some extent I agree - the new rivalries are subjective, fair enough.
Having said that, it seems that it'd be nice to see something - not analysis, per se, but even just notification. This may only apply to historical simmers who aren't making these changes themselves, but having them done automatically, albeit through the options that the user selects.
