customizing stadiums

I created a game and tried to import ballparks from Matter2003's MLB2006v3.1 saved game.

I pasted the images into data/ballpark and then copied his parks.dat file into my saved game.

I can see the ballparks, with correct information and picture attached to it.....but they dont belong to the good teams. The dodgers play in the yankee stadium, the yankees play at Midway field, etc.....

I've misdone something. Copying the images and the parks.dat file is not enough.
Does someone know how I link stadiums and teams ? (I can do it in the game manually one by one, but there are hundreds of them)

AFAIK, that is the only way at this point, until somebody writes something to edit the .dat file directly.

Is this still the case? The parks.csv file has a field for ballpark pics, both day and night. All we need is an option to Import Parks.csv and we could change those .jpg references. Larry, Mr.AU? Is this all done via the .dat file? Are we still limited to one by one ballpark changes?

The original question was about linking ballparks to teams. This would involve both the parks.dat and the teams.dat files as far as I can tell. The parks.dat gives an index to each stadium and the teams.dat references the stadium using that number. Right now I'm in the process of putting together an editor for the ballpark info, but I haven't looked too closely at how the teams.dat is structured.

or simply go through each team's home page with options and ballpark selected and manually change it.
