Is it possible?

The only thing I am interested in is playing in a league just by myself with the real teams and the real players on their real teams. I now understand that there are these "MODS" that have to be used to do that. I've checked out the sites people have on here for MODS, but I'm not good at this stuff and everything seems spread out and jumbled. I'm a former console player, so this is foreign to me.

IS there anywhere out there or anybody that could tell me how to set up a game to be able to play like I mentioned above? Could you tell me exactly what to get and then how to put it to use?

I play on an Intel MAC as well, so there's that if that matters. Thank you to anybody who can help.
