Thumbs up WorldOfBaseball Version 1.5 Released!! LOTS of Updates

FINALLY!! After a thorough reworking and updating, its ready!!

This is WorldofBaseball Version 1.5 and a LOT has changed:

-Updated ALL team affiliation changes
-Updated ALL team logo changes
-updated ALL team weather to proper cities or closest city
-Updated ALL teams to proper cities
-Updated Stadium Names/Information where possible and needed
-Updated Uniform Colors/Styles as much as possible---will fix 100% for Version 2.0
-included Icy's great MLB uniforms with permission(Thanks Icy!)
-included Truth Serum's Great Logos with permission(Thanks Truth Serum!)
-included NoPepper's Cuban Logos with Permission(Thanks NoPepper!)
-Included Some Deft Jersey Templates(Thanks deft!)
-Created Uniforms for American Association Teams(Except Shreveport because I cannot locate any pictures of them) and all Nippon Baseball Teams
-League is now created from a CLEAN world template rather than a converted save game starting January 1,2007

Sounds good. I'm downloading now. Will let you know that I think....

One question though. Will most of the uniforms be 100%? Or will we still have to change the jersey style on all of them?

It seems the game remembers colors and logos, but not jersey styles.

Well, I found a decompressor for 7z, but is the extra compression really worth it? I imagine most people dont have a 7z decompressor, unless WinZip or WinRar can handle it.

Then again, I'm on a Mac...

forgive my ignorance, but is this a roster set, quick start or template? And are the players all fictional?

Do you suggest disabling some of the leagues?

I took the Manager position of a Rookie league team, and want to sim to the preseason. Each day takes about 30 seconds. Is this because of all the leagues?

Players are fictional, everything else is real---logos, teams, stadiums, stadium pictures, cities, weather, uniforms etc...

That's completely up to you---you can delete or keep whatever leagues you choose...

Yes, the larger the universe, the longer it will take to sim, since each game is played and each team has decisions it needs to make about rosters/trades, etc...

7z was built into the game for online leagues for their uploads/downloads. Our tests showed a major improvement shrinking file sizes. 20% better or so.

Maybe next update Real Players/Pitchers/Personal.
I like to have all Leagues available but still be able to Sim real fast.

For those of you looking for it: 7-Zip. You can also use IZArc, both of which are completely free and contain no nagware screens.

Anyone else having dreadfully slow sim speeds? I deleted all of the leagues except for MLB, AAA, AA, and A. All teams are set to CPU as I want to sim a few years first. Is there any reason it should take 5-10 minutes to sim a month? (February)

Adding this to my site today. Will make it a zip archive to resolve some of the confusion...

FYI, as a 7z archive it was only 40MB, but as a zip archive it's 53MB...

Yes, you'll need to export the rosters out to a text file, convert it to a csv file and then change player ID numbers and then import back into the game
