So do none of these mods work on Macs?

I'm equally excited and frustrated by this game. I downloaded the demo of the 2007 version on a Mac, but I won't play the game unless it has real players (just a preference of mine).

But with all the different files talking about databases, and rosters, and logos, etc. I have no idea what files I actually need to download, and how I can load them into a New Game.

Plus, I read in another thread something about having to do something manual to get a database file to work, and none of it made sense (and it didn't to the person asking the question either).

Is there anyone on here using a Mac, and is there a thread that actually lays out the steps needed to start a new game with real teams and rosters?

I'm on a mac. It's really not as hard as it seems.

If you want to run a historical sim, I use the Lahman Database. You need to download the CSV version of that database, and store somewhere that you know where it is. Then, use the wizard in game to create a historic league.

As far as real rosters, as of yet, there haven't been any released. the game does not offer real players, so we have to rely on the community to get them.

And, unfortunately, the utilities created don't work on macs. Except for Getch's utilities, because they are web based. I'm hoping that some day, a mac programmer finds this game and starts making utilities.
