Babe Ruth 1918/19
In real life Babe Ruth played 59 and 111 games in the outfield in 1918 and 1919 respectively, Over the course of those 2 years, he not only lead the league in HR's, but pitched in 37 games, compiling a 22-12 record for Boston. Is this possible in OOTP, or when the recalculate function makes him an outfielder, does he lose all ability to pitch and is no more effective a pitcher than any other outfielder? There were about a dozen players that imported in 2006 (and earlier) as 2 different players, while now the DB's have been reconfigured to import these players once, but switching their potitions when they did IRL. I was wondering how the new game with the recalculate function handled this situation, as well as the myriad of other position changes that occured, (e.g. 3B to 2B, or 2B to SS).

From what I gathered Ruth pitches for the first couple years then he becomes an offensive force (with the recalculate feature checked). I don't think OOTP 2007 supports 2 way players. You may be able to have this if you manually change him back and forth between starts.
