Talking World of Baseball 2.0 In the Works...

and this time it is working properly---just tested the basic league structures, which I just got completed tonight and there are no crashes or anything bad happening...

For some reason the template I used to create the universe and then add leagues to it was causing a crash, and the only way to remedy it was to recreate it from scratch. The good news is this solved the issue, bad news is it is kinda tedious...

Should be out within a few days or at most a week...will contain all the 2007 schedules for minors included with it as well as a few stadium/team corrections...

And too much talent,

And looks like they mad at us...
but who cares,
We coming to take the cup...
this year...
Don't know how much excitement
we bring...
Ya better be ready to lose this spring..."

Quick update: I am about 15-20% done with the individual team changes(changing names, stadiums, logos, uniforms, weather, pics, etc..) I am working on it every day, but it is taking a little bit longer than I expected since the universe contains 51 leagues and 453 teams---each one having to be done individually...

I should get a signnificant chunk completed today, but probably not enough to finish it. I am confident it will get released sometime next week, hopefully Tuesday, since I will have some time to work on it then...

Hang in there...its coming along nicely...

Another Quick Update:

I am roughly 50% complete--I have been adding and correcting many foreign cities weather. A lot of countries had no cities at all, and others had rain data that was way off. I have added about 50 cities so far(any city that has a team in any of the leagues was included), and will continue to add as many as needed to ensure all cities have the proper weather in the league...

Quick Update...

Only 7 leagues left to finish...I am halfway done with Midwest League then I only have the NYP, Northwest League, Appy League, GCL, Arizona Summer League, and the Pioneer League...

Have been making numerous jersey corrections so that all jerseys should be as close to perfect as possible...

Dumb question, and I know I could cobble the answer together from other posts...but I'm going to ask anyway.

Say I wanted to start my first fictional league, and I wanted to mirror real-life US baseball in every way, except actual player names of course. What would I need to do to use this universe?

Reason I ask is that I tried this set before (version 1.5), and I found that there were way too many Asian players in the set, and too many Hispanic players as well. I would like to mirror 2007 baseball, with perhaps 60% Caucasian players, 30% Hispanic players (both US-born and foreign) and 10% other (African-American, Asian). I would also love to have the names, origin countries and facegen pictures match up to some extent. So, most Hispanic players would have pictures typical of that race, and would be born in PR, DR, Mexico, Venezuela, etc.

I have read the posts on this, and looked at the options, but I can't get it all clear in my mind.
