Concerning player ratings and the editor, I have also noticed other inconsistencies. One example is this: I am playing a historic league starting in 2007. I was going to draft Grady Sizemore but his contact was in the mid 30s and his HR power was in the upper 40s. I went to edit his stats and the editor showed his contact to be in the 160 range and his HR power to be in the 180 range. This is my second post about the editor and how to interpret the ratings system and how the editor affects it...can someone please give me a crash course on how to decipher the ratings and editor system?

It looks like the settings are set at 200 for the players. So if you are looking at a 1-100 ratings for your league, then his potential would be 80 for contact and 90 for power. The 30's and 40's must be his actual rating at present time. What are your ratings set at. Make sure they are all the same.

I thought of that and my rating system is set at 1-100. I then saw on the editor instructions that the ratings on the player's editor page are up to 250 so I maxed all his ratings and still saw no change. On my other post I received a reply that said I needed to make sure I hit "enter" after I edited the ratings so I am going to try that and see if that is the problem. I don't remember if I did that or not when I was toying with it last night.
