path to database????

I am having a hard time getting the path to the database right. It talks in the manual about a "master cvs file", but I have yet to see it. do you use the path to the folder the game places in your documents or do you go to program files to enter the actuall game folder? This is very frustrating....I just started the game, and can't find the path to the database, and which one is it?!!! the one in My documents or the one in program files. I need help. If this game is going to be this complicated right at the start, how can I expect to ever play it???!!! Help, help, help.......

Have you downloaded the lahman database?

If you have it'd be the one under My Documents or where ever you saved the Lahman.

This thread does a nice job guiding new users through the process of grabbing the most recent lahman database and using it to import rosters.
