Arbitration Question
How does the game handle players who sign contracts and after the contracts ends (and they SHOULD be a FA) but are still arbitration eligible?
I have a player who signed a four year deal when he entered the league, his contract is about to be up, but the game says he is arb eligible? http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_2204.html Thanks in advance. Last edited by dieselboy : 12-13-2007 at 07:04 PM. |

IIRC, and I'm not 100% certain, they are simply granted arbitration again as they normally would have been had they never signed the previous contract.

Kelric is correct; if he doesn't yet have six years of MLB service, he'll go into arbitration (assuming you're using the default settings for service time). That's how things should work, by the way- or at least, that's how things work in real life.
