Veteran Gamer Has Questions About Version 8
Okay, I'm not really new to the game, I've been playing OOTP for about five years now. I just took the plunge and bought OOTP 8.
Here are my questions: 1) What does the quickstart do? 2) What does New Major League Game do? 3) Is the Lahman database part of the new game, or do I have to download it, or use my old Lahman db already on my computer? 4) Finally, do the 2007 rosters come with each team's minors with real players? Thanks

Hmmm. Actually, I cannot remember whether quickstarts were around before OOTP 2006, and you might have been playing OOTP 5/6 up until now, so please pardon my initial incredulity over that question. I hope my response was adequate; here's a bit more from the manual:

You can download and install quickstart games that modders have made in this same folder. There are some great ones available here: http://web.mac.com/sixwilsons/OOTPMods/Templates.html
