cant get game to run

i purchased & downloaded ootp8 yesterday. installed it and tried to get it to run, but nada. nothing would happen. so i gave up and went to bed.

today i uninstalled it, redownloaded, reinstalled. again the same result.

i'm running vista home premium. is that why i'm having troubles?

Try run the program as an administrator

You need to turn off User Account Control. I think that's what worked for me. You can find that in the control panel somewhere.

in case you don't know how to run as an admin, right click on the OOTP logo and select run as admin. You should only have to do that once and it should work fine after that.
