New league help..

Ok I want to make up a league using old time teams like- 95 Atlanta and 86 Mets and 71 Pirates and many others. I have tried to figure out how but just cant.
I clicked on " make own league" then I see Create Fictional Lg. And I figure I dont want that right?
Then Standard Lg.
Then Historical Lg. I think this would be the one to make a league of my own right?
and I dont need templates right?

Of course I am doing something wrong, so Please tell me what it is.

Thanks..

Ok I read the manual over and over.
All I want to do is make up a League-call it Phil's league.
I dont want a draft or anything like that.
I just want to make a league with 16 NL old time teams and 14 AL old time teams for 1 season. And then sim a season to find out who the best teams are. But I cant figure out the manual.
I would be truly be Greatful for any help....

I think he was trying to direct you to this thread: Team Rosters from different seasons and not the manual.
