Probably a stupid question!

This is probably stupid but I have just started my fictional Australian Baseball league and I have used OOTP in the past. I remember seeing an updated story on games with highlighted player performances in news section. Through the first week of this season, all I am getting is injury notes and trade reports. I am playing as comissioner and would like to get game highlights as well as detailed info of HOW someone got hurt. There are a few injuries taht are not reported in news and I have to "dig" to find them.

I guess what I am asking is am I doing this correctly now in the new OOTP? I want to get as much written info as possible as I am thinking of turning the league into a dynasty....

2 thoughts: It is possible that over the first week of play there have been no notable performances. You'll typically get news stories of shutouts (individual only) and games where batters record 5 or more hits or 3 or more home runs. If none of those things have happened, you wouldn't get a news story. As far as I know there's no way to lower the threshold for "significance" of events.

Or, you may not have yourself set up to receive all the news that gets generated. Under the Manager main tab, go to Options, and in the lower left see "News Subscription Settings". Make sure yours is set to at least "news from entire league" if not "news from entire league & organization" or even "news from entire world" to get all the news reports generated by games around your league.
