Question about frequency of PHing?

I am new to the game, coming from a background of APBA but loving OOTP8.

Anyway, I notice very stong hitters being PH for often in favor of L/R pitchers. Is there any way to globaly edit the game to reduce how often the AI PHs or do I need to go through each team and edit the strategy?

Also wondering if I do edit each team will these edits remain since I am only coaching one team in my league as the Comis or will the coaching AI change them back?

You can go to game\game setup\league setup tab (on left)\strategy tab (on right) and set how often teams will "pinch hit for pitchers" and "pinch hit for position players". This wont neccessarily reduce when the AI pinch hits for good players only, but will reduce how often the AI will pinch hit for anyone within the current league.

It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

You can also set whether or not any hitter is ever pinch hit for. Unfortunately you can't set the frequency, just a blanket YES, pinch hit for him or NO, never pinch hit.

And this is a very valuable tool, especially when you are simming a week towards the end of the stretch run.
