Adding correct Minor Leagues and teams ?

I might have missed something BUT HOW will the correct teams and leagues be included when I start a His sim in the 80´s.

Will I have to edit all the team names and league OR did I miss a selection when started ?

I know players is not possible yet to DL from Lahmann but I believed teams and correct leagues would be a part of the Universe.

You can certainly have correct players as well as leagues and teams in a historical sim. When you create a new game, look on the left side of the screen and use the Add Historical League function. That'll let you decide what year you want to start playing from.

If you're using OOTP8, the database is included but I don't have this version of the game so I'm not sure if you still have to point the game in the proper direction. If you're using OOTP2007, you need to make sure you select the proper folder and file (master.csv in the database) for the game to be looking at.

I think that was only part of the problem.
I understand how to setup a Historical Major League season BUT when you get to select if to play with Minor Leagues or Reeserve roster you seam to only able to tick.

This will create minor leagues that have either only major leaguers in them or filled up with fictional players if you selected this.

However my issue is NOT the PLAYERS BUT the team names AND the minor league NAMES

International League, Pacific Coast League and so on.
Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees ... Buffalo Bisons and on

I get Allamuchy-Panther Valley Foxhounds and onwards.

Anybody can help me with this.
Is it something to DL or manualy labour in the correct names and hope that they don´t change over the years of simming.

Gambo and others have made Stadium pciture for Minor league teams so someone are thinking about this

You'll have to enter in minor league info manually, but they won't ever change after that unless you change them.
