This is an awesome league. Stu runs a very tight ship, and is a very good commissioner. I highly recommend jumping on the waiting list if you can, this is one of those leagues that will be around for a long time.

Brewers League Baseball is currently in it's 4th season (1981). We're expanding by 2 teams after this season and 2 teams after the 1983 season. Please register at the site above or PM me for more details.

As a former member of this league (before real life got too hectic) I can say that it is very well run with a great bunch of owners. I highly recommend BLB.

The California franchise is available. I don't want to scare anyone away, but this is a pretty extensive rebuilding project. Please PM me if interested.

Denver is available. For some reason this team has had the most turnover among owners, despite having some decent talent. We're looking for an owner who will stick with the league and be active exporting and in the forums. Please send me a PM if you're interested.

BUMP!

Brewers League Baseball is expanding again by two more teams.

We're currently entering the 1983 regular season and will be expanding during the off-season. We'd like to pick the two new owners now so they have a season to keep an eye on the league and its players. We're using the same rules we did during our last expansion, which went very smoothly.

If you're interested in the unique challenge of running an expansion team please visit us over at http://www.simgamingnetwork.com and let us know.

Here are the expansion rules:
Quote:
General
- Adding 2 more teams to the Import league (no DH) after 1983.
- New owners will be able to pick their city and nickname for all 4 levels.
- There will be realignment and the Playoffs expand after 1983.
- Expansion teams will be awarded the 1st and 2nd picks in their first Amateur Draft and their first Rule 5 draft. Draft order will be determined by seperate coin flips and will alternate each round.

Expansion Draft
- There would be 3 Expansion Rounds
- Round 1 would be 28 picks (14 per expansion team)
- Round 2 would be 28 picks (14 per expansion team)
- Round 3 would be 14 picks (7 per expansion team)
- Existing Teams protect 15 players plus the last 2 drafts. They can add 3 players after each round.
- Teams can lose no more than 2 players in Round 1, 2 players in Round 2 and 1 player in Round 3. This would limit a team's losses to 5 players total.
- Expansion teams will be provided a custom league file with scouts off, and all ratings set to a 1-5 scale.

Financials
- Expansion teams will receive the following initial financials:
- Market Size = 3
- Fan Loyalty = 5
- Fan Interest = 100
- Expansion teams can design a Stadium under the same parameters as initial BLB stadium construction.

Expansion went great the first time around. Those two teams are currently in their second year, with Indianapolis being a surprisingly competitive ballclub. We're all looking forward to expanding to 24 teams.

Great league, though the commish is a little psychotic.
