Ritchford, Hood River, Washburn, St. Bernard, and Northhampton are all open for next season.
Unfortunately, some owners were very frustrated by OOTP2006, thus the large turnover, but we have a very long, very steady history of outstanding competition and friendly rivalry. We really want to get this league filled back up!

I've been participating in this league since the second season, and beorn is a fantastic commish.
I like it because it's fictional, and because the commish doesn't own a team of his own. Sign up, if you think you can handle competing with the mighty Red Willow Roadrunners.

I've been in this league since it started; Beorn is by far the best commissioner of any online league I've been in. If we can get all the teams filled up again it will be a great league once again.

We will be making the switch in a few days, as soon as the playoffs end. And yes, we do have openings!

With the move to OOTP2007 tomorrow, we have one opening (Stratford) and likely a couple more.
Come join us as we begin our 20th season of OOTP baseball. Dog Days Baseball Email me

Now is the time to join us in The Dog Day Baseball League. We are currently converting over to OOTP2007.
I have been in this league from the beginning as the owner of the Murry Creek Mudcats and loving every minute of it. One championship under my belt and I am very proud of it as this is a tough but friendly league. Also, online leagues are only as good as their commissioners and their dedication to their league. Beorn is a great one. He has created a memorial league worth being a part of. Dog Days Baseball: www.bemont.net |

We are settling in following the switch to 2007. It is June, we are just finishing the ammy draft, and the pennant races are in full swing.
It's a great league, but we really need owners for the Northhampton, Langlade, Kingsbury, St. Bernard, and Denton franchises. Come on and join us in our 20th season.

As one of the longer-tenured owners in DDB, I'd like to emphasize how much fun DDB is. I think it's largely due to the fact that our Commissioner works his butt off, and that he doesn't own a team, so our league is very balanced and fair.
Come join us - we need more active, interested owners.

Northhampton and Langlade have been taken. However, Kingsbury, St. Bernard, and Denton still need owners.
Kingsbury, which has seen some sorry times in recent years, is in the middle of n exciting pennant race. St. Bernard might have enough pitching to compete, but offense is mediocre at best. Denton is an abused child who needs a kindly foster parent who will take them shopping for some nice new pitchers.

I would like to reiterate that Dog Days Baseball League (DDBL) is a great league and we are now looking to bring out membership back up to full.
Only two slots for new GMs remain. Beorn is the Commissioner of the DDBL and he has put his heart into this league he has created. He should be proud as I and other GM's are having a blast of a good time. If you are new to OOTP2007, we are friendly and willing answer any questions you may have? If you are an old timer, we are a competitive league as well. This current season is the tightest I have seen it the last 26 seasons of the DDBL. So if you are looking for a league, please join Doy Days Baseball. (http://bemont.net) |

I'm one of the new GMs in the league and I'm having a blast... although I'm getting a little sleep deprived thinking about the league.
Here's a challenge for an ambitious GM... Cottonwood is one of the teams available in the DDBL. They probably aren't going to be in the playoff picture this year, so they need to start some big time rebuilding. They do have some talent who would be very attractive to teams in the pennant race, so the chance is there to load up on young players and turn Cottonwood around. ![]()

I can preach that Beorn is one of the best people I know in the OOTP community, and he makes a great commish.

Cottonwood is filled
, but there are still two openings. I'll feature one of them.Kingsbury is in first place in its division by two games, nine games over .500, with a nice selection of talent, including a few good young players. They are the 7th (of 24) ranked team in the power ratings. Definitely a team with some options, as they will have to choose between signing their younger free agents and holding on to their big money players. ![]()

We're full right now, but I'll profile another team if we have openings. Thanks to all the new GMs who joined up.

Thanks for the kind words.
We have just finished another season, and have one vacancy: Ritchford The Redwings need some work. I have intervened to bring their finances back within the realm of possibililty, but that was at the expense of some talent. They will take some patience, but the team is not hopeless. If you want to look around at the team, you can download a minimized league folder here and log in as guest. Interested in taking over the team? Shoot me an email
