Baseball Association of America

- League name - Baseball Association of America (formerly X-Factor Baseball, hence my username, went through a name change before league opened to something that sounded more official)
- League URL - http://baoa.proboards76.com/index.cgi
- League type - Historical, going through baseball starting with 1901, but we'll be making our own history as we go.
- Special league rules - An advanced point rewarding system with a simple Supply and Demand rule limiting purchases.
- Number of teams - Currently 16, but eventually we'll expand and hopefully have other universes.
- OOTP version - Currently 2006, but more than likely we'll be going to go to 2007 eventually.

We're nearing the end of June in our inaugural 1901 season. Pretty good group of GM's but we're picking out the few inactive owner's right now. There are 3 teams open right now.

1. Baltimore Orioles - Pretty good team, currently first place in the AL. One of, if not the best, team in BAA, they'll be good for the next 4-5 years barring major injuries/bad trades.

2. Milwaukee Brewers - Another good open team. Currently in 2nd place in the AL, 1.5 GB from Baltimore. They're missing a true superstar, but don't have many major holes.

3. Philadelphia Phillies - Another pretty good team, unfortunately they got hit with the injury bug early. With teams starting to break away, they don't have much of a chance at the World Series (Yeah we know, WS started in 1903, but we got a head start) unlike the other two available teams.

We're currently going at a faster than usual pace for two reasons. One, the GM's wanted to start at a quick pace to build some league history. Secondly, due to it being 1901, there's a shortage of players, most of the GM's wanted to speed up to get through to a point where they'll have full rosters. We will be slowing down, hopefully in 1902, but more than likely it'll be in 1903.

We kinda hit a roadblock in activity early, but now everyone is starting to get used to everything and activity is starting to pick up. If you like a historical league where your free to take over a team and make your own decisions, BAA is for you. The current 3 teams are practically untouched and the soon to be open teams are completely untouched.
