Century Baseball League is a fast paced league, started with 1950 rosters.

Below is how the league works:

Sim a complete season in seven sessions.

Schedule:
Sims will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Day 1: Import EXP files and sim season to Trading Deadline (July 31).
Day 2: Close trading, Import EXP files, Process trades.
Day 3: Import EXP files and sim to playoffs.
Day 4: Sim playoffs and to the Amateur Draft.
Day 5: Run Amateur Draft, 1st round by list, remaining players computer pick, then sim to the beginning of next season.
Day 6: Day off to update Web Site for next season & allow pre-season trading.
Day 7: Import EXP files and Process trades.
Repeat

League will be expanded when it was expanded in real life.
Teams will move when they moved in real life.
154 game seasons until they went to 162 in real life.
Playoffs will expand when they did in real life.
Designated Hitter starting 1973.
40 man rosters, no minor leagues.
All-Star game will still be simmed.
Amateur Draft will be computer picked prior to season start.
Injuries will be set to low and fatigue will set to average.
Draft pick trading enabled.
Financials will be disabled.
Coaches will be disabled.
Spring Training disabled.

I have been involved with online baseball leagues for about 15 years, creating my first league with Front Page Sports: Baseball, the original Field of Dreams Baeball League. I consider myself a baseball historian and love historical baseball simulations. I'm looking forward to getting more information on the old Negro League players and teams so the simulation world can integrate baseball from the dawn of time! (Get on the ball, Lahman!) I would also like to see OOTP to be able to import from 1871. (You guys have something against Al Spalding?)

Century Baseball League is currently looking for an owner for the Chicago White Sox. The former owner needed to step down due to real life commitments. Darn that real life stuff! He was a very good, active owner.
