Historical League moving to OOTP 2007 needs replacements

Available Teams
Cleveland Indians (taken)
Los Angeles Dodgers (taken)
Pittsburgh Pirates (taken)
Montreal Expos (taken)
Boston Red Sox (taken)
Washington Senators (taken)
Philadelphia Phillies (taken)
Baltimore Orioles (taken)

Our League is currently in it's 18th season(now 1977). We've been around since late 2004 and are at the halfway marker of our final season using OOTP 6.5. After a league vote, it has been decided that OOTP 2007 be adopted. With the change, the current GM's of the above teams have have stated they will not be continuing with the league.

One of the interesting characteristics of our league is that we run the offseason Free Agency on the forums in a bidding war format. We also use coaches and scouts to throw an extra dynamic into the development of players and GM decision making.

If you have both OOTP 6.5(in order to finish out the 1977 season) and OOTP 2007 and if you think our league might be right for you, please head to our site http://asahi2.montoyahome.com check out our league rules and submit a "Join the League" form.

Actually, no need to have 6.5. There are Manager and Front Office tools on the main website to control the team until the switch. After the switch, owning 2007 will be necessary.

Kind of hard to reply when you lock me out of the forums.. But again your on your 2nd dodgers owner. lol I lasted how many seasons? Christ I was more active than most gm's. But it is fine. May the Dodgers quit within three weeks after he figure's out how you ruined the Dodgers.

Sorry, Jason, I think your one or two exports every 3 1/2 months(real time) doesn't get you into the top 10 as far as "active" members in our league.

You weren't booted, by the way. You didn't reply to the "I'll be back" thread in our forum. That's all.

I don't know what this mntwinsfan's problem is, and I don't really care, but this is a fine league. Active owners with a commish who is quick to answer questions for the new guys.

Great league! Well worth running a team here, and if ones not open, would be worth getting on a waiting list if there is one.

Always one to lend support.

I tried to use the join league feature but I keep getting errors.

If you have any open teams I would like to join. I am currently commish of UMBL and 80s and Beyond. Also the Royals in ASBL.
