OOTP Version: 2007 (patch 2.0.2.53)

The International Federation of Baseball is a new, fictional OOTP2007 league that is currently forming. A handful of teams have been taken, but there are still teams available. The IFB is an international league where each team represents a nation. Teams will be filled primarily with players from their home nation, but teams can also acquire players from other nations to supplement their own talent. There are some unique rules to this league, particularly in the way the amateur draft is handled and some of the finances, so please read the league rules to make sure this is the type of league you want to be a part of. If you're tired of the same old routine of online leagues, this one will be different!

As the commish, I will not be running a team. This is a league I've had a vision for for a long time, and I'm very happy to say that it'll soon be a reality. We should be kicking things off in the next two weeks once the league fills up and the teams are filled out.

Frank is a top-notch guy and he's put together what looks like a really interesting system behind the league. If you're tired of the same old rebuild-dominate cycles where dumping all your veterans gets you a sure-fire future stud draft pick, take a look here.

Hey guys...I checked out your website...the league sounds very interesting and I'll definitely be following. But I don't understand how you guys have time for this, especially with how much is expected (TP's and all that, which I still don't quite understand completely)...I wish I had that kind of time, but I don't. Plus I'd be afraid vacations would cause my team to go down the drain.

You just have to invest a little more time than your average league where you just export and such.

Still looking to fill the final spot. I can understand the concern that some may have that this league will take a little more time than other online leagues. My $0.02 on that matter is that most of the additional stuff affects the commish and not the individual owners. I won't deny it might take a little more time from the GM's, too, but I think that'll result in a group of more committed GM's who are excited about these additional features the league has. My impression from the GM's I've already got is that they're all pretty eager to be a part of this league. It should be an excellent group to compete against, and a fun challenge.

But, I'm a big enough man to admit that I would probably do a great job of investing time at first, then would get sucked into another "project" of mine, and wouldn't have enough time.

Wow, I'm really sorry I couldn't take everyone that was interested in this league, but perhaps we'll expand down the road. Yep, the league filled up faster than even I expected. Don't feel like you've missed out completely, though, you're more than welcome to stop by the league site and see how things are going. We've yet to have a sim and already the trade rumors are flying!
