Only sim leagues?

Are there leagues that play the games instead of simming all the games? I was wondering if this is possible and if it is why don't see anyone doing
it. I have played games on my own and is fun to do.

Nope. The closest is some leagues will "broadcast" the championship series games.

late night baseball uses allsimbaseball, and it's great!

Let me chime in by saying that Fidel runs a very professional operation with his AllSimBaseball.com service. Our league has been with ASB for close to half a year now and the service has been outstanding. Fidel has always been incredibly responsive to our needs and has bent over backwards to help, including scheduling AIM meetings to go over any questions (and there have been a lot!). You're just not going to get this level of personalized attention focused on OOTP from any other service.

If you've even toyed with the idea of hosting an OOTP league online, this should be your first and last stop.

A quiet bump. Just want to make sure new ideas for online leagues have at least one option to get the ball rolling.

I will say that this is an ideal service for experienced players who have thought about starting a league but have been intimidated by the web work involved.

I had often thought about starting up my own league, but I wasn't sure about setting up the website or the forum. By using All Sim Baseball I was able to finally start up my own league.

When I have run into issues or needed questions answered Fidel has been responsive and helpful. I could not more highly recommend this to GMs thinking about starting up a league.

Just wanted to post about the service Fidel provides.

I have started a league and even needed to switch sites mid-stream. He has made is super easy.

He provides a great service and would highly recomend him for anyone looking to start up a league and does not know crap about internet stuff. (that was me)
